This is a generalist HR Administration role providing day to day support to the HR team and wider business; the role will cover all areas of the function including; recruitment, selection and on-boarding, employee support, training and development and will cover two locations.
What you'll do
Front line HR support to the local business in Cwmbran, Newport and Mitcheldean as support for the HRBP & HR Manager as and when required. Work as part of the local and wider HR team ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to and best practice is shared arocss sites
Payroll administration for all 3 sites on a monthly basis and liaise with Payroll on all pay queries
HR Administration for all employees, ensuring documents are issued in a timely manner and all systems are updated.
Recruitment support the HRBP & HR Manager, liaising with agencies, arranging interviews, raising requisitions on the system and ensuring full approval is sort. Ensure all absence is tracked and logged in the system correctly.
Issue contract of employment to new starters, ensure signed documents are returned, issue new starter packs, undertake all onboaridng activities.
Administration duties for all employees leaving the business, including but not limited to; system updates, payroll, resignation acceptance letters, equipment collection. Company car policy administration.
Run the events team at Cwmbran ensuring community events, charity fundraising and employee events are organised on a regular basis.
