The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of service charge accounting and the associated legislation; with a proven ability to work on their own initiative, excellent organisational skills and a pro-active approach to their daily tasks and be expected to develop the role as the business grows.
Key responsibilities
- Issuing of demands for service charges and ground rents.
- Entering and maintaining annual budgets for service charges.
- Chasing arrears and liaising with solicitors for legal action.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Invoice entry and contractor payments.
- Preparation of year end summaries for accountants.
- Confirmation Statements and stock transfers.
- Collection and monitoring of management and administration fees.
- Supporting the block managers day to day admin.
- Issuing consultation notices and collating observations.
- Full IRPM training will be provided to the right candidate.
