The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of service charge accounting and the associated legislation; with a proven ability to work on their own initiative, excellent organisational skills and a pro-active approach to their daily tasks and be expected to develop the role as the business grows.

Key responsibilities

  • Issuing of demands for service charges and ground rents.
  • Entering and maintaining annual budgets for service charges.
  • Chasing arrears and liaising with solicitors for legal action.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Invoice entry and contractor payments.
  • Preparation of year end summaries for accountants.
  • Confirmation Statements and stock transfers.
  • Collection and monitoring of management and administration fees.
  • Supporting the block managers day to day admin.
  • Issuing consultation notices and collating observations.
  • Full IRPM training will be provided to the right candidate.
