Who you are

You are a highly motivated undergraduate / graduate who wants to build broad B2B marketing experience. This summer, you are interested in joining a high-growth technology company to support our International Marketing function.

This role requires a highly organised and hard-working individual who thrives in a fast-paced, creative and dynamic environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player within the EMEA marketing team.

About the role

In this role, you’ll help to drive a series of projects focused on brand awareness and demand generation for Dataminr’s Pulse and News products in EMEA.

You will provide day-to-day support of the planning, development and execution of marketing plans, with a focus on measuring, analysing and reporting on their effectiveness. Your scope will span multiple regions and departments, across Marketing, Product Marketing and Sales, so collaboration is crucial to success.

Responsibilities

Campaign development and execution

  • Assist in the project management of key marketing programmes to ensure timely and effective execution
  • Determine the ROI of marketing activities, tracking and analysing both quantitative and qualitative metrics to determine impact 
  • Share the learnings with the wider Go-To-Market team

Content marketing

  • Collaborate with the global marketing team to deliver collateral, web content, emails, event messaging, sales enablement and other assets that drive prospect engagement
  • Project manage the translation of existing and in-progress marketing collateral

Digital advertising

  • Assist in measuring and monitoring EMEA campaign performance and recommend improvement areas
  • Optimise copy and creative to improve conversion rates

Email marketing

  • Evaluate the the current performance of the regional nurture programmes and recommend areas for improvement
  • Create email copy for new sequences and ensure the changes are implemented
  • Run A/B tests to track and optimise performance

Events management

  • Support the EMEA Field Marketing lead in executing global and regional events, including virtual and in-person conferences and webinars 
  • Manage the lead follow up process in collaboration with Sales and Sales Development

Desired competencies and experience

  • An undergraduate / graduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a desire to learn about B2B marketing
  • Keen to take on new challenges and solve problems
  • Organised, proactive and dedicated work ethic
  • Desire to own projects through to completion that deliver tangible outcomes
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Able to learn processes and software quickly 
  • Familiar with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
