We have a vacancy for a New Graduate Vet to join our existing friendly team here at Your Vets Smethwick. We are located in the West Midlands and will provide you with a positive and supportive working environment, excellent clinical standards, respect and compassion.

As the only new/recently graduated team member you will receive ample support from the highly experienced team which includes a certificate holder and another Vet working towards a certificate.

We are a 24 hour, purpose built, climate controlled hospital with 2 spacious operating theatres, dental suite, separate cat/dog wards and waiting areas . All the usual toys! ISFM cat friendly gold standard.

The role

The position is full time, based on a 4 day week and 1 in 4 weekends. We are lucky to have a dedicated night team meaning no out of hours or on call requirements.

As a 24 hour hospital, we have a varied case load including ECC cases and you will have the opportunity to follow cases through from admit to discharge. We also have an In house surgical referral service.

We have a Friendly and approachable practice management team with an open door policy and regular team check-ins with a strong emphasis on wellbeing. There are excellent local transport links and Birmingham airport is within easy reach.
