What you will do
An ideal opportunity for an undergraduate to join the UK Demand & Supply Planning Team for a 12 month placement, supporting the team to plan and improve forecast accuracy across the brands in the UK Market.
This opportunity offers a great deal of exposure and insight into the supply chain of the Beauty industry, giving valuable experience to support the on-going business-related to product the best forecast plan to improve forecast accuracy.
Reporting
- Run daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Maintain current trackers
- Bring improvements to existing reports
Projects
- Build presentations as requested by the team
- Help the team with meetings minutes and follow ups
- Assist and support with new product launches
- Take on any other demand planning projects as part of the teams’ yearly goals (eg. SKU classification)
Forecasting
- Supporting UK demand planning team across all brands
- Work with supply planning and commercial to manage unexpected customer orders
- Day to day support in executing demand plans & conducting regular forecast analysis as directed
- Support the demand planning team with UK sales team requests
- Provide insight and analysis to improve forecast accuracy
- Help with preparations for the S&OP meetings
- Liaise with marketing and sales team to ensure testers forecast is captured
- Conduct analysis on the customer forecast and provide insights and conclusions on recommendation for the sales plan
- Communicating supply chain issues that could affect the business
