What to expect

As the Global Commercial Operations PMO Intern of our Global Commercial Operations Team, you will be responsible for a variety of different project activities including project coordination; change management activities; business analysis; data analysis and communications as well as provide exposure to the various elements of commercial business in a global capacity.

  • Taking full and direct responsibility to support to manage all aspects of assigned projects activities from initial stages through to completion.
  • Ensuring adherence to the Commercial Project lifecycle and respective checklist.
  • Under the supervision of the PMO lead or project manager ensuring robust initiation of new projects.
  • Providing assistance to ensure projects run on time and budget.
  • Providing an active role in the development of any assigned project deliverables.
  • Ensuring quality and timely submission of all project deliverables and documentation as assigned by the PM.
  • Maintaining and regularly update Project information in Sharepoint.
  • Effectively communicating with the Project Manager and PMO lead for any assigned projects.
  • Providing any other project management related task upon request from management.
  • Working with Commercial functions to understand ‘as is’ processes.
  • Process mapping and documentation.
  • Regular reporting of project KPIs and metrics.

About you

We are looking for someone with an analytical mindset, who is naturally curious and keen to seek out the ‘what’ as well as the ‘why’.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Organisation skills
  • Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
  • High computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment under deadline pressures.
  • Ability to manage own workload independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Detail oriented and proactive.

Education

  • Currently undertaking an undergraduate degree in Project Management / Business or a closely related degree, and plan on pursuing a career in a related field.
