The role
As a Cloud Engineering Graduate, you’ll develop and deliver first class technical solutions, contributing to our culture of innovation and enthusiasm. You’ll collaborate closely with other teams, following best engineering practices to ensure consistency in technologies, tools, and approaches, while creating shared components when possible. Always championing the end customer.
We have over 300 tech experts across our teams all using the latest tools and technologies including AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Python, TypeScript, and MongoDB.
As part of our agile cloud engineering team, you’ll build, run, and own high-quality, resilient cloud solutions for Compare the Market. You’ll influence the design, security, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure while providing technical direction to product teams on cloud deployment and operations. With a focus on test-driven development, you’ll prioritise automated testing to ensure top performance and reliability. Sound like your kind of adventure.
To join our meerkat mob you’ll be
- A graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Cyber Security or a related field (minimum of 2:1 classification)
- A good awareness and understanding of core AWS services
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
- Proficiency with at least one programming languages
- Self-motivated with a strong customer-focused approach, along with being a natural problem solver and analytical thinker
- Ambitious and driven, ready to kick start your career with us
