Citi is looking for full-time Analysts to join the Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG) team in London. GSG, part of the Corporate Banking Business, are relationship-focused finance professionals responsible for understanding the wide range of complex financial issues facing our clients around the world. GSG serves a select number of world leading corporations that demand the highest standards and world class / quality coverage.
As a GSG Banker, you will drive the client dialogue on treasury and working capital, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management and investment solutions for Citi’s top multi-national clients in the UK. If none of these terms make sense right now, that’s ok!
As a GSG Analyst, you will join a training program in London, where you will receive an in-depth education on a variety of these topics to learn the fundamentals of the Analyst role and introduce you to Citi's culture. So, whatever your degree is in we will give you the training you need to excel.
We provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed
We're committed to teaching you the ropes. This analyst role will start in February, with initial training from the GSG Team in Geneva, before a six-eight week in-depth training program in London in July. You will then be ready to continue your training will continue on the job. Third year analysts, who have received consistently high ratings during the program, will be eligible for a one-year rotation in another team or internationally.
Your time here will look something like this...
- Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis.
- Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of client's business and its needs in order to shape and execute efficient relationship strategy.
- Liaise with product and Citi network partners on a daily basis.
- Assist in presentation and development of new ideas to clients.
- Structure and execute cash management, trade finance and corporate finance deals.
We want to hear from you if
- You are in your final year of university or graduated.
- Expected to achieve or have achieved a 2:1 (or equivalent) at undergraduate level in any degree discipline.
- You have an interest in business.
- You are fluent in Mandarin language.

This role currently offers a hybrid working model, with a mandatory three days in your assigned office, and an optional two days from home. Citi supports this business model, subject to business approval.
