Our industrial placement is a 12-month immersive program based in London and designed to give computer science students real-world experience and exposure to areas like Software Development, DevOps, Data Science, and Infrastructure. About the placement and what to expect..
You will join our software development team, the engine room of our business, providing bespoke systems that give us our competitive advantage in a dynamic and fast paced marketplace.
You will work on three rotations of four months across different teams. You will work across all of our current technology platforms including our bespoke back-office system, online insurance trading platform and a new dynamic document management system as well as driving innovation on new cutting-edge projects and initiatives.
You'll work in our London office and be fully integrated into life as a full time CFC'er. Along the way you'll develop your technical skills and experience, learning from our high-performance teams who are experts in their field. You'll also receive an introduction to the insurance industry, develop your stakeholder management skills and be exposed to some of the latest and greatest tech. We pride ourselves on our friendly and supportive culture and you will get to experience a collaborative, agile and innovative environment first-hand. You will never be bored, you will always be learning, and you will have fun doing it.

Please complete the application form with your CV and a blurb about yourself. You will then receive a link to undertake an online technical assessment to assess your current knowledge, reasoning, and skills. This testing will take up to 75 minutes maximum and is comprised of 3 tasks.
Once applications have closed and we have reviewed all the assessments, you will be notified of next steps. Successful applicants from the first stage will then be asked to submit a brief video to introduce themselves and tell us why they have chosen to apply for this opportunity.
