Canon UK are searching for a talented school, college or University leaver who has a passion for an opportunity to join a global brand as a Technical Helpdesk Trainee.

The role will involve working with an internal mentor and a team of like-minded customer service & Canon technology experts. This trainee role will present you with many opportunities to develop and enhance your technical skills with a goal of becoming a key member of the 2 nd level technical Helpdesk following the trainee role.

Learn about Canon’s consumer imaging products, from Professional Cameras to Printers and Lenses to Binoculars to and more. The latest 3 rd party Software and Operating Systems including Graphics applications.

Develop your troubleshooting skills through technical training provided by an internal Canon mentor and on the job development. Liaise with existing experienced Canon Helpdesk specialists to develop your own skill set and develop your own experience.

Interact with other departments to develop your skillset away from the Helpdesk on subjects such as Customer Service, our Repair Workshop, Logistics and more.

Training on how to maintain accurate repair documentation using Canon systems and processes

  • A self-starter with an enthusiastic attitude to learning from our experienced Helpdesk.
  • Have a strong interest in Technology, Imaging Products and Software that can be put to use in troubleshooting Canon’s high-tech imaging products
  • Be able to demonstrate tenacity when faced with difficult technical situations, people, or challenges.
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills and act in a professional manner whilst representing Canon.
  • Be able to demonstrate a level of technical competence to troubleshoot customer issues, as well as develop your customer service skills.
  • Be computer literate and able to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal form. Have good data analysis skills and a desire to succeed.

Further information

Salary starting from £23,843.
