We are looking for students or those in the early stages of their career to join our Summer Internship Programme 2025, a 3-month paid Internship between June and August 2025.
About the role
Our Visualisation Team have a project focussing on Improved Shaders (Particularly Skin-Related) for our global illumination volume rendering technology. This provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to develop skills in computer graphics and medical imaging.
About you

You should be at the following stage of your studies to apply:
- Third year (entering final year after the summer) or final year undergraduates
- Early-stage postgraduate students (MSc or PhD)
- Digital skills academy graduate from Data Analysis or Software Development course
You should have some knowledge of writing software. Relevant skills for this project are C++, and Computer Graphics​. Additionally, mathematical knowledge of 3D Geometry and linear algebra is a key requisite for this project.

Following the closing date, a shortlist will be drawn up and successful candidates contacted to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process.
The placements are planned to commence on Monday 2nd June 2024, although there is flexibility in this. The internships will adopt a hybrid working approach between our Edinburgh office and home working. Based on recent feedback from previous interns, some time working in the office should be expected to fully benefit from the experience.
