We're known as a leading healthcare group, but we're so much more than that. We have 50 million customers worldwide, with no shareholders, so we can reinvest profits into providing more and better healthcare for the benefit of current and future customers. We're focussed on our purpose - helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. So, if you're looking to kick start your career and can bring us the skills we're looking for, then then we can help you build your career and you can help us make health happen.
The role
On our three-year Business Management Graduate Scheme you'll build your management skills across a range of disciplines whilst studying for the Business Transformation Fellowship, a Level 4 apprenticeship programme. The Business Transformation Fellowship will equip you with the skills you need to manage projects and drive change in the modern workplace.
Whether you know what you want to do in the future or are still working that out, we believe it's really important to try it for yourself. That's why over the course of the scheme, you'll complete three 12-month rotations across the breadth of our business in Group functions. You'll have a rare opportunity to gain broad experience in how we operate and be supported to complete the Business Transformation Fellow qualification at the same time.
The functions on offer include
- Strategy
- Sustainability
- Digital People Solutions
- Technology
- Corporate Affairs & Brand
- Group Clinical
What's more, the scheme is underpinned by a comprehensive learning and development programme. You'll develop essential skills such as self-awareness, effective working, communication, team working, influencing and leadership, as well as critical business skills like project management, commercial awareness and business awareness. And with support from your manager, our Early Careers Manager and buddies, you'll be stretched to discover your potential.
All of this will help you shape your career and turn you into a business leader. Your progression after the scheme is endless, it just depends on where you want to go next.
