The role

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in our success story. You'll be involved in the design process coordination, planning, and programming, ensuring that construction activities meet safety standards and client requirements. Working alongside a team of seasoned professionals, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow while making a tangible impact on groundbreaking projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support in producing methods statements and risk assessments
  • Provide dimensional control and undertake as-built surveys
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications
  • Communicate technical information effectively to the workforce
  • Collaborate with various functions to optimize project performance

Essential skills & knowledge

  • A 2i or above in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Strong knowledge and experience in reinforced concrete
  • Familiarity with EDM/Total Station is desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly

You will be enrolled onto our graduate programme which is a two year structured training scheme. The programme is designed to enhance and develop soft skills and technical capability through a blend of classroom based learning and on the job training. Our programme offers a balance of training and on the job learning to support your transition to becoming an accomplished professional.

Graduates will take responsibility and accountability for their careers, while we offer guidance and support to help you reach your goals. We will support your route to chartership and give you the opportunity to develop different skill sets outside of your specialism. The duration of the graduate programme will be spent of the BYLOR project with the potential to see different aspects of the project in this time.
