As a Resource Planner Intern, you will play a vital role in enhancing our Contact Centre operations. You will be at the heart of resource planning, ensuring our Customer Service Advisors are equipped to deliver exceptional service while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for

The placement will focus on supporting administration tasks within the department, including, but not limited to:

  • Resource Scheduling & Planning: Help ensure we have the team in place to meet customer demand effectively.
  • Support the Contact Centre Team: Collaborate with advisors, team leaders, and supervisors to maintain seamless workflow.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyse call volumes and service levels to optimise resource allocation.
  • Real-time Queue Management: Continuously adapt resources to enhance the customer journey and ensure they receive seamless support at every step.
  • Work Independently & as Part of a Team: This role involves a mix of working on your own and contributing to team efforts, giving you the flexibility to manage tasks independently while still being a key part of the team.
  • Personal Development: Take advantage of mentorship opportunities and training sessions to build your skills in resource planning and data analysis, setting yourself up for future career growth.

  • Work well independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to completing tasks and supporting team members.
  • Be detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in forecasting, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Have strong Organisation skills, able to manage schedules and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and capable of handling data analysis and reporting.
  • Possess good communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between advisors and management.
  • Demonstrate interest in data analysis or workforce planning; previous experience with planning tools or software is a plus, but not required.
  • Have a customer-focused mindset, with an understanding of how effective resource planning contributes to customer satisfaction.
