Job description

As an Intern Software Developer you will join one of our agile teams to develop our software.

We have a strong focus on embedded software but our students can also be found working on our virtual ECU or within our Dev Ops team.

We use a wide range of languages, including C, C#, C++, Java, Python to name a few. You will be writing and delivering software to meet the defined specifications under the direction of your team lead.

We give you real work and you will be expected to have responsibility for your own deliverables, but always with the support of your team.

Qualifications

  • You should be studying for a degree in a relevant discipline e.g., Computer Science or Engineering, and have some of the following characteristics:
  • Programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., C/C++, Python, Java)
  • An understanding of object-oriented software
  • Familiarity with embedded software development
  • Good time management, communication and problem solving skills
  • Creativity and innovative thinking

Additional information

This placement will start in July 2025.This position is open to undergraduates who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their degree course.
