Job description
Join us for your placement year in summer 2025! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.
Based in Worcester, you will have the chance to work for a dynamic company to enrich your knowledge and experience. During your 12 month internship, you will have the opportunity to support on a range of design & mechanical engineering topics and become an integral part of the team. You will gain experience in:
- CAD modelling & technical drawings
- Design workshop and rapid prototypes
- Operating and maintaining 3D printers
- Testing appliances
- Liaising with colleagues and suppliers internationally
You will be working in a team with, and learning from, talented engineers with a variety of skills.

Qualifications
Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.
Our ideal candidate should
- Should be an undergraduate student, in an engineering related subject
- Should have some prior familiarity with a CAD software
The following skills and attributes would be a bonus but aren't essential to the role
- The ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time
- Proficiency in clear and effective communication, both in verbal and visual formats

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunch break
