Join us for your placement year in summer 2025! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.

We are looking for motivated, talented individuals to join our 1800 strong team. We have opportunities spread across our two sites in Worcester and Clay Cross, as well as in the field nationwide.

In this role, you will be responsible for

  • Utilise product availability to plan delivery of customer orders on-time and in-full
  • Coordinate and communicate with customer planners and warehouses to achieve successful practical delivery of orders by: review and question orders for anomalies, book delivery slots at customer warehouse location, provide pre-delivery advice
  • Answer customer queries to ensure the customer service level is maximised by dealing with issues and resolving within adequate time.
  • To liaise with Production Planning, Transport Team and Order Processing Team in ensuring all customer requirements are met.
  • Monitor and report daily on key departmental performance indicators.
  • Accurately process all customer commercial orders
  • Resolve and escalate any issues that may arise
  • Continuously improve processes

Qualifications

Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.

  • The ideal candidate should have good attention to detail, excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the business and externally, excellent customer service with an ‘above and beyond’ mentality, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work as part of a team and independently. Most importantly, you must be able to take responsibility and be accountable for processes within the role.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunch break
