The role
We are looking for a passionate and talented Paid Search Executive to support the Digital Marketing Team in our central London office for Karen Millen. This role will report into the Senior Paid Search Manager. You will be responsible for the execution of the Paid Search strategy across the brands.
What you will be doing
We are looking for a Paid Search Executive who can implement and manage Paid Search activity.
You will work with the Senior PPC Manager to implement and manage Paid Search strategies, ensuring campaigns are optimised and meet agreed KPI’s.
In addition to being an eager expert across the aforementioned areas, you’ll be able to manage a substantial digital budget, be able to rapidly react to changing trends that generate large sessions and revenue in an efficient way by acquiring new customers and retargeting core customers.
You must have a can-do attitude, be highly analytical, have attention to detail and a great communicator, have excellent interpersonal skills, and love working in a rapid and agile start-up environment.
This hands-on role requires daily performance monitoring and optimisation to ensure that business KPIs are met. You will work closely with key stakeholders within the business such as Campaign Marketing, Trading, Finance, Business Insights, Operations (IT), eCommerce, Google & Microsoft.
Responsibilities Include
- Plan, implement, optimise, and manage paid search and shopping campaigns for various markets.
- Ensure PPC & YouTube campaigns are optimised according to best practice guidelines.
- Manage bids via automated bid management solutions.
- Working with Google Editor and Microsoft Ads Editor.
- Manage PPC accounts profitably and within agreed target ROI.
- Constantly achieve agreed KPIs.
- Grow existing PPC accounts through continuous account campaign build outs.
- Perform regular keyword research, preparation and analysis and weekly negative keyword research & Search query reporting.
- Work with Online Acquisition Manager to ensure all paid search activity falls in line with the wider paid search and digital marketing strategy.
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly campaign & bespoke reports & analysis.
- Perform ongoing competitor analysis & reporting.
- Work with the 3rd party Google shopping feed provider and GMC to manage shopping accounts.
- Understand competitor landscape and keep up to date with industry updates, including new commercial opportunities from partners
- Build great relationships across the business including buying, merchandising, digital, and marketing to ensure all product, trade and design messages are relevant and timely.
- Auditing and evaluating of accounts to ensure consistent best practise
- Keep on top of trends, liaising with internal teams to ensure coverage of key categories and products.
More about you
- Paid Search Experience
- Proficient in Google ad words and Microsoft Ads.
- Proficient in Google analytics and Google Merchant centre
- Proficient in managing Google Performance Max campaigns
- Understanding of Ad words scripts/product feed manipulation and Bid strategies (desired)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manipulate data to produce actionable insights.
- Previous experience of working bid management platform will be advantageous.
- Experience working on retail brands, preferably within the fashion sector (desired)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with special attention to Excel.
- Highly numerate and commercially aware
- Highly organised, process driven and have attention to detail.
