Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK.
The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. Only 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally located to support operators in the UK region and beyond.
What are your contributions to the team?
- Support in developing an expanding network with functional heads and key members of the business
- Assist the Customer Project Manager (CPM) in follow-up on commitments and items such as time/labour/material quotes, preliminary invoices, progress updates, resolution of squawks, and warranty issues
- Manage the scheduling of project allocation within the CPM team
- Learn and support the UK HMRC inwards processing procedure within the customer base for on-site aircrafts
- Support the CPM’s and manager in preparation of financial reports for in work projects
- Work with the CPM and invoicing team to prepare vendor claims such as Rolls Royce, Honeywell and GE
- Monitor Customer credit and payment status
- Produce information and make recommendations to support project related decisions
- Work with other key stakeholders in resolving internal project related issues such as spares control.
- Assist with customer aircraft visits alongside our customer experience manager
- Preparation of pre purchase inspection reports
How to thrive in this role?
- You have previous related Project Management/Sales/Aviation / Customer facing / Finance experience – Preferred
- You have good proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- You have obtained a degree in Aviation Business Management, Aviation Project Management or related subject qualification
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You are eager to learn
