What you will enjoy doing

  • You will formulate & issue cylinder preparation & filling instructions
  • Formulate & issue of safety data sheets
  • In addition, you will provide technical data, advice & publications
  • Furthermore you will maintain departmental work instructions
  • Maintain procedures for ISO 9001 certification and ISO 17025 and 17034 accreditations
  • Lastly, you will ensure that legislation, codes of practice and standards are applied consistently in all Technical Services and Special Products operations

What makes you great

  • You will possess a university degree in Chemistry or Physics, and you have gained experience in an industrial environment
  • Have an ability to understand product properties (physical and chemical), hazards (including flammability and toxicity) and material compatibilities
  • You should have a high level of numeracy and competence in the use of Microsoft Office programs
  • A working knowledge of regulations governing transport and labelling and the operation of software for the compilation of SDS
  • Furthermore, you have the ability to work in a team environment as a productive team member
  • Work with integrity, role modelling the behaviours aligned to being in an inclusive workplace
