The Global Trade Solutions (GTS) metier provides services and solutions that enables clients to optimise, secure and finance international transactions worldwide. In addition to traditional trade products and services, GTS also provide structured trade and customised supply chain management/working capital solutions for our clients.

You will be joining the UK GTS Front Office Team that provides trade solutions, products, and lending to the Corporate Clients of the Bank. The team is composed of 6 members in London. Our offices are well connected to all amenities. The environment is perfect for uncovering the problems of corporate treasuries. You will gain exposure to Senior Front Office Trade Managers, Corporate Coverage, risk Mangers and operations teams within BNPP. Senior profiles share their expertise with junior profiles.

Core accountabilities of role

  • Portfolio Management:
    • Preparing credit process related document for annual review and new requests
    • Monitoring profitability of existing client and portfolio
    • Liaising with credit analysts and coverage to closely identify early risk indicators (downgrade, subordination, etc)
    • Transaction analysis and follow-ups and client analysis to help target the commercial push
  • Reporting:
    • Support head of GTS and the team in reporting activities to top management
    • Build reporting tools/file to improve data quality and access
    • Work alongside the team for follow-up tracking (client, internal etc)
  • Marketing Support:
    • Building pricing and commercial offer for new clients (return targets and credit requirements) and other BNPP sites
    • Support in preparing pitches and customer analysis
    • Client meeting report (upload in platform) and manage follow-ups with team.
  • Structuring Support:
    • Support drafting TS and manage request with Legal team to draft facilities
    • Work with internal teams on structured syndicated deals (agency, fees, distribution)

Knowledge, skill and experience

  • Degree from a leading university with an excellent academic record; or equivalent work experience
  • Understanding of financial markets
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Confident verbal, written communication and networking skills
  • Proficient with MS Office tools, including Excel
  • Great organisational, multitasking and time management skills
  • Strong analysis and judgement
  • Meticulous accuracy with a keen eye for detail
  • Team player, proactive, independent, enthusiastic self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English. Additional languages are an advantage
