Our Financial Services Team

Our Financial Services team (formerly Rees Pollock) has a deep knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations, sector-specific tax issues and structuring considerations. The team work with approximately 250 regulated clients. They provide hedge fund managers, private equity and venture capital managers, wealth managers and advisory firms, with advice to help them establish and grow their business.

About the role

Our ACA Financial Services Audit Graduate Scheme based within our Financial Services team part of the wider Audit, Accounting and Outsourcing department.

As a Trainee Chartered Accountant you will assist with the preparation of financial statements for Financial Services clients from trial balance stage. You will be working and collaborating with other members of team in order to build strong working relationships. You will provide assistance on statutory audits as you continue to develop your knowledge. As your confidence grows so will your project management skills as you work to meet deadlines and budget constraints for clients.  

Our ACA Graduate Scheme forms part of a level 7 apprenticeship programme. We have created a first-class training and development programme to set you up for success providing the support you need to complete the ACA qualification. Alongside your day to day work you will attend college and/or study days, mentoring and will be assigned a designated buddy who will help you settle into life at the firm.

This role will start in January 2025.

To get the job that you’ll love you will have

  • On track to achieve or have already achieved a minimum 2:2 in your undergraduate degree.
  • You will need the right to work in the UK from your start date.

Recruitment Process
