Blackstone’s Real Estate Asset Management group conceives, executes, and advises on major investment and corporate initiatives across the real estate business. The team’s work involves the management of real-estate companies, portfolios of real estate assets and individual properties worldwide.
The team’s investment professionals will work on post-acquisition transactions including restructurings/recapitalizations, refinancing, dispositions (public IPOs and private market sales). In addition, they will analyze investment performance and steer investment strategy, working with portfolio company senior management to execute value creation initiatives including business plans, capital expenditure projects, lease and management negotiations.
Analyst work may include
- Refinancing and disposition transactions
- Investment valuations and return projections
- Transaction and trading comparables analysis
- Conducting strategic investment reviews
- Excel financial modeling and analysis
- Market research and data analysis
- Development of company strategy and business plans
