What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will gain invaluable experience in the area of international tax and trade, being exposed to the technical and operational challenges and opportunities that large international companies face. By the end of the placement you will have a well rounded understanding of how tax and customs operate in a large business organisation. Your main responsibilities include;

  • Collaborate with the Customs team to support with the optimisation of distribution channels and delivery of significant financial value
  • Contributing to the preparation of Bentley’s Transfer Pricing analysis and documentation spanning the whole business and the wider Volkswagen Group
  • Opportunity to be involved in high profile projects and activity directly linked to the company’s strategic goals

About the function

The Tax and Customs team play a key role in supporting the operational and financial performance of the business. We define and deliver the company tax strategy across two core pillars. Firstly by ensuring that Bentley remains compliant in all tax and international trade operations and secondly by delivering value through optimised tax costs and streamlined cross border movements.

Education

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Law, Economics, Business Management or IT.
