What you’ll be doing

Working within the Production Planning function you will gain invaluable experience working with new and emerging manufacturing technologies and will be given the opportunity to influence the way we build our future products. Working alongside and being mentored by industry leading experts this opportunity will enable you to become a multi skilled Manufacturing Engineer. We have Manufacturing Production Industrial Placements available within: Interior Planning, Final Assembly Planning, Facilities Planning and Electrical Planning.

Your main responsibilities include

  • Working with the Battery Electric Vehicle process development team to deliver the new processes for our new platforms
  • Support our digital strategy projects to change the way we plan and produce future builds
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and use the findings to influence future team making decisions
  • The ability to showcase projects, designs and see the final delivery in production being used in a daily process
  • Ensure continual updating of technical knowledge through liaising with Group colleagues, benchmarking and training

The Production Planning team sits within the wider Manufacturing Function. Our goal in Manufacturing is to deliver an extraordinary journey for our customers, inspiring them with a magical fusion of craftsmanship, innovation and sustainability. From influencing the design of our products to their launch, from a customer order to the handover, we aim to deliver extraordinary results in everything we do.

Education

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Data Science. Alternatively, we would consider degree topics with a STEM focus.
