What you’ll be doing

In this role you will gain invaluable experience in process improvements, managing high impact projects and pitching your ideas, develop a deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing and our production processes. You will also get the opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by a team of experts in Lean Manufacturing.

Your main responsibilities include;

  • Working proactively with the Kaizen team to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Help to improve our ways of working within Kaizen supporting the introduction of new digital ways of working
  • Working in collaboration with our lean trainers to deliver our lean programs to colleagues in preparation for our battery electric vehicles
  • Support and engage within our bespoke workshop (full training given) supporting the production shop floor

About the Function

The Kaizen team are part of the Production strategy department which is a key driver supporting the business Beyond 100 strategy. Our responsibilities are driving Lean transformation programs yielding business cost benefits, focused on improving quality and productivity throughout the manufacturing process.

Education: The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in a STEM based degree.

  • Demonstrable examples of project management
  • Technical drawing capability (e.g. CAD)
