What you’ll be doing

Working as a Graduate within the Production Planning team you will have the opportunity to define and influence the way we build our products in the future. You will gain invaluable experience working with new and emerging manufacturing technologies, working alongside and being mentored by industry leading experts, this opportunity will enable you to harness your skills and kick start your career in the luxury automotive industry. Your main responsibilities include;

  • Deriving assembly concepts and processes from first principles based on a new product portfolio and reporting to the Senior Process Planning Manager
  • Benchmarking other products in terms of both product and process within and outside of the Volkswagen Group
  • Support the process planning team through the whole vehicle assembly planning process
  • Help to define how the smart factory of the future looks for Bentley

Our goal in Manufacturing is to deliver an extraordinary journey for our customers, inspiring them with a magical fusion of craftsmanship, innovation and sustainability. From influencing the design of our products to their launch, from a customer order to the handover, we aim to deliver extraordinary results in everything we do.

Education

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or other Engineering degree subjects.

Skills

  • Great communication
  • Demonstrable examples of working in a team
  • Problem solving skills
  • Work experience within other manufacturing industries desired
  • Knowledge of German language desired but not essential
