What you’ll be doing

In this role you will gain invaluable experience in understanding how Bentley develop interior systems from the early and initial phases of the project, through to the first physical builds. You will also have the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues from the world of manufacturing, design, engineering, and production as well as learn, apply and improve your knowledge and skills. Your main responsibilities include;

  • Supporting and improve designs for manufacturing technical managers
  • Co-ordinating and reporting overall status for departmental goals and projects
  • Working with the material development team to assess the impact of introducing new materials into the production process
  • Being responsible for individual projects which aim to resolve design and engineering related concerns to improve the manufacturability of products

About the function

The interior design for manufacture team spans much of a vehicle’s product lifecycle; influencing early product design through to building pre-series vehicles and problem solving. In our department you will learn skills relating to reviewing early design concepts, assessing them for manufacturing impact, communicating and convincing the business to adjust and change using data.

Education: The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in any Engineering degree or technical degree subject.
