What you’ll be doing

Working within the Logistics function you will gain invaluable experience working with all elements of the supply chain on projects to improve our current processes, you can expect to be working on the latest technologies within Logistics and Supply Chain and providing information for decisions that will shape our electrifying future. We have Logistics Industrial Placements within: Supplier Planning, Logistics and Contracts and Supplier Operations. Your main responsibilities include;

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders within Bentley and VW Group along with our UK and European Supplier base to ensure a smooth transition to a new concepts
  • Support and implement new IT systems that will create a digital supply chain including supplier systems, container management and transport tracking systems
  • Tableau/data mining (Programming and automation)
  • Experience project planning, sampling, parts planning, stock control and systems

About the function

In Logistics we are responsible for ensuring the operational planning and efficiency of key elements of the Bentley Supply Chain. This includes the inbound supply of material to build our cars, the onsite Logistics Operation and the distribution of finished cars to our customers around the world.

Education

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, Engineering, or Business Management.

  • Experience or interest in Logistics / Supply Chain industry desired but not essential
