There are two Industrial Placements available

Please apply for one industrial placement position only, outlining your preference in your cover letter. We will review applications for all suitable positions.

HR Talent Development

The HR Talent Development Industrial Placement offers HR Graduates or Undergraduates a unique placement at the heart of people performance and talent development. Based within our HR Centre of Excellence, you’ll get real insight by owning the topics, and have regular contact with our internal customers. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Organising our annual talent development cohorts, making sure those nominated for talent pathways know what they need to do to complete their programmes.
  • Being a coordinator for our talent assessments, liaising with assessors and candidates to ensure a seamless process
  • Championing our mentoring programme and supporting colleagues from across the business to access and benefit from mentoring

HR Culture and Engagement

Sat within the Centre of Excellence our HR Culture and Engagement Industrial Placement offers graduates or undergraduates a unique placement at the heart of culture and people engagement activities. With the support of your mentor, you’ll get real insight into HR by owning these topics and managing high impact business projects. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Support with colleague engagement topics such as the annual colleague survey; including planning, promotion and execution
  • Delivery of internal events; including the extraordinary talks and annual awards event
  • Champion various initiatives across HR, such as colleague engagement, early careers, HR policy & practice, culture etc.

The HR Talent Development and Culture and Engagement Industrial Placements sit within the wider HR Function. Bentley Motors' HR team plays a crucial role in providing an extraordinary experience for employees, mirroring the luxury experience offered to customers. The department positions Bentley as an employer of choice and focuses on creating a seamless career journey for employees from hire to retire.

Education

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in any degree topic that includes HR and people related topics.
