HR Colleague Experience

In this role, you will gain an broad and varied insight into Human Resources in a central team that deals with all manner of generalist topics and shared service support. You will develop strong colleague engagement skills alongside considerable knowledge of HR supporting systems like SuccessFactors, Workforce Software and SAP. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Work to achieve Colleague Experience Centre targets, providing an excellent level of customer support and coaching colleagues to transition towards self-service.
  • Lead full end-to-end colleague lifecycle transactions e.g. new employee, job change, internal transfer, promotions etc.
  • Provide support for case management activities and tier 2 transactions e.g. maternity and exit interviews
  • Act as the face of HR for all colleague interactions and requests for support

HR Operations

The HR operations placement sits within the HR Advisory team, which is responsible for providing a professional HR service across the organisation to line managers. You will gain invaluable experience learning how HR supports the whole employee lifecycle, people strategy and Business objectives. You will experience global mobility and immigration topics touching on how we share talent across the whole Volkswagen Group, making this a truly varied role, showing you the value of HR Operations. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Senior HR Advisors in all employee lifecycle activities, employee relations cases and completing end to end processes such as recruitment offers
  • Review HR and international operational processes as part of our continuous improvement work
  • Research and interpret people related topics e.g. case law updates, best practice and industry data to feed positive changes into how the team, and wider HR Operations team, add value to the organisation and overarching People Strategy
  • Be an ambassador for digitalisation by supporting the simplification of data analytics and reports

The HR Operations Industrial Placements sit within the wider HR Function. Bentley Motors' HR team plays a crucial role in providing an extraordinary experience for employees, mirroring the luxury experience offered to customers. Education

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in any degree discipline that includes specific HR Modules, Business Management or Law.
