What you’ll be doing

Our HR Data Analyst Industrial Placement offers Graduates or Undergraduates from a range of technical Degree disciplines a unique placement at the heart of our core business activities. You’ll be given the scope to lead projects that provide insights to support business decisions, giving you real-life, tangible data analyst experience. Your main responsibilities include;

  • Working proactively to analyse data about our people to gain insights and support strategic decisions
  • Working on projects to identify new opportunities to use technology to automate and optimise processes
  • Undertaking external research on best practices and new concepts, and coordinating new technological initiatives to become established business processes
  • Auditing data and processes to improve data integrity and support HR processes

The HR Data Analyst Industrial Placement sits within the wider HR Function. Bentley Motors' HR team plays a crucial role in providing an extraordinary experience for employees, mirroring the luxury experience offered to customers. The department positions Bentley as an employer of choice and focuses on creating a seamless career journey for employees from hire to retire.

Education

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in any Degree discipline that includes data analytics, technology and problem solving skills.

Skills

  • GCSE Maths 7/A or above, ideally A-Level or equivalent in Maths, IT or technical topics
  • Strong Excel capabilities
  • Demonstrable examples of experience and interest in IT
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Innovative and critical thinking
