What you’ll be doing

Working within the Government Relations team you will gain invaluable experience through supporting and leading high-impact projects, delivering sustainability reports, an award-winning community investment program, all whilst working alongside and being mentored by industry leading sustainability and government relations professionals.

Your main responsibilities include

  • Creation of external insights briefings on a range of sustainability topics, to be reported into the internal monthly Sustainability Committee
  • Support with delivering the Bentley Community Investment programme through collaboration with external charities, NGOs and key internal stakeholders
  • Working with the team to support business compliance activities covering topics like risk and risk mitigation
  • Supporting the team in collating, preparing and presenting data using PowerPoint and Excel for various topics

About the Function

Our team oversees three main elements that support our Beyond100 strategy - Government Relations, Community Investment, the Sustainability report and Council. We play a key role in the sustainable transitioning of Bentley and play a crucial part in the goal of manufacturing solely battery electric vehicles, being carbon neutral and a leader in sustainability as well as in supporting the local communities.

Education

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Business Management, Sustainability, Geography and Environmental science, Economics, Law, English or History.

Skills

  • Demonstrate knowledge and interest in current affairs, sustainability topics and community investment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications
  • Effective time-management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrable examples of working collaboratively in a team
