There are two Industrial Placements available

Finance Accounting
The placement opportunity sits within the Accounting function. In this role you will gain exposure to the various compliance requirements of a large complex organisation, develop your knowledge of accounting and periodic reporting, whilst collaborating and working alongside industry leading experts who will be supporting you on your career journey. Your main responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the finance team to support the monthly, quarterly and year end close activities
- Maintaining the books and working closely with the payables, purchasing, payroll and other teams within the business to support on financial topics
- Assist in Treasury Management activities
- Drive and support ongoing process improvement programs
Business Planning
The Business Planning Industrial Placement sits within the Financial Planning team, we are responsible for ensuring the business transforms financial targets into an actionable business plan. You will gain invaluable experience working on high impact projects and contributing to key financial processes to support the strategic aims of the business, whilst working alongside and being mentored by finance professionals. Your main responsibilities include:
- Assist with the current year forecast reporting process
- Provide support during the 2026 Budget process, including system readiness and validation of information
- Support the delivery of Finance IT projects
- Collaborate with the team to produce the long term business plan
About the function
The Finance Accounting and Business Planning placements sit within the Finance function which drives the business to deliver Bentley’s long term value. As a high performing team we work collaboratively across the business to engage, simplify and drive a digital transformation to sustain value growth, giving you real–life experience to elevate your career journey in Finance.

Education
The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in Finance, Accounting, Business or Mathematics.
