What you’ll be doing

The Software Engineering Graduate sits within the Motion Electronics and Software department. In this role you will gain a depth of experience in managing projects through collaboration with VW group platform partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will learn about software development, verification, validation, sign-off and release in accordance to industry, legal, internal and group processes and standards. You also have the opportunity to support Cold and Hot Field testing of Software in various locations within Europe. Your main responsibilities include;

  • Electronic hardware and software product development cycle
  • Development of Verification and Validation plans
  • Resource management within a team to deliver objectives
  • Collaboration across Research and Design and other stakeholder departments

About the function

Part of the Research and Development team’s Motion Electronics and Software department, this role is responsible for development of Engine, Transmission and Electric Vehicle propulsion electronic hardware and software to support Bentley’s product portfolio of vehicle models and motion variants. We support in project delivery and you will gain a variety of skills and knowledge in this role.

Education

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in Electrical engineering, Electronic engineering, Automotive engineering, Software engineering or Software design.
