There are two Industrial Placements available

Business and Strategic Planning
The Business and Strategic Planning Team are responsible for ensuring Bentley becomes the benchmark for luxury car production. Working with and being mentored by expert industry colleagues, you’ll gain invaluable experience working on battery electric vehicle project management and gain a holistic view of Manufacturing processes of live and future vehicle projects. Your main responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the team so support battery electric vehicle project management
- Support the financial forecasting of Bentley vehicle projects
- Contribute towards process management and have the opportunity to own your own continuous improvement project
Manufacturing Projects
Our Manufacturing Project Team are responsible for the right first time delivery of vehicle projects into the Production area, with the main goal of achieving a seamless launch. Working within this team you will have the opportunity to plan and prioritise your own daily activities using project management principles and have the rare opportunity to experience every phase of Bentley products and project launches. Your main responsibilities include:
- Deliver a project aligned to your interests within the scope of Manufacturing Projects to demonstrate and further develop your problem solving skills
- Help to identify process improvements to increase efficiency and ultimately profitability of the business
- effective reporting and delivery of our manufacturing tasks for the new Bentley vehicles

The Industrial Placement positions sit within the wider Manufacturing Function. Our goal in Manufacturing is to deliver an extraordinary journey for our customers, inspiring them with a magical fusion of craftsmanship, innovation and sustainability. From influencing the design of our products to their launch, from a customer order to the handover, we aim to deliver extraordinary results in everything we do.

Education
The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or Physics.
