This programme will equip you with both the business and technical skills you’ll need as you start your career. You’ll be given the opportunity to work with the firms we regulate to make them safer and sounder. As part of your role, you’ll learn to assess risks, prepare reports and hold firms accountable. You’ll also qualify as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. We’ll support you through your professional studies with study leave, funding for study and a salary increase as you progress on the Programme.
- Actuarial apprenticeship Programme lasting 42 months
- Applying math’s and statistics to real world problems
- Building financial models and applying actuarial techniques to analyse business problems

Entry requirements
- 2:1 in a numerical subject, at least 120 UCAS points using the 2017 UCAS Tariff System (this is equivalent to 300 UCAS points using the pre 2017 UCAS Tariff System)
- A-Level (or equivalent) in Maths at grade B or above

If you are successful in securing a place on this programme, you could be allocated to one of the following areas: Insurance or Prudential Policy Directorate.
