The Team

Core Technology Infrastructure (CTI) is responsible for designing, building, and operating end-to-end technology infrastructure solutions and managing critical systems and platforms across the enterprise, lines of business and regions. This includes delivering end-to-end technology infrastructure solutions across hosting, application services, network, and data platforms. CTI also delivers end-to-end production services across all infrastructure domains, enterprise data platforms, and enterprise functions including Global Human Resources, Chief Administrative Office, Corporate Audit, Legal, the Chief Data Office, Global Information Security and Employee Experience Technology.

Programme Overview

Our Summer Analyst programme is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience of work as a full time Technology Analyst. During the summer you will have the opportunity to participate in real delivery of technology solutions.

Training and Development

Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.

Responsibilities

As an analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Designing infrastructure used by multiple lines of business, handling billion dollars of transactions per day
  • Taking responsibility for deploying and supporting core infrastructure that underpins the daily operations of the entire bank; from networks to modern workstation platforms.
  • Partaking in global incident management and event management processes
  • Working with various platform teams and Business Technology Groups to help build out automated processes
  • Having exposure to the business management functions
  • Learning and developing skills relating to a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes.
  • Translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies

Eligibility

  • Candidates are required to be pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a graduation timeframe between September 2024 to June 2025
  • On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
  • Must be available to join the programme from June 2024 to August 2024

  • Display evidence of strong teamwork, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a pre-requisite
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethics by earning other’s trust and respect through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactions
