The People Analytics team’s goal is to expertly manage and analyze all of BAM’s people-related data to uncover insights that enhance the effectiveness of our People Team. We provide recurring reporting and deep-dive analysis to a wide range of stakeholders on areas such as headcount, compensation, talent management and engagement surveys.
The role
The Corporate Strategy team manages BAM’s business strategy and focuses on activities that drive the long-term growth of the firm, including: Securing financing for the business, particularly longer-date and permanent capital, adjusting and enhancing the structure and tax profile of the firm, as needed, Identifying opportunities to improve the firm’s profitability, reviewing and making recommendations to fees, liquidity terms and new wrappers for fund offerings, and expanding into new products, including new funds and businesses such as reinsurance, private equity, real estate, and credit
Responsibilities
- Work with various teams to understand their data requirements and provide guidance on data usage
- Design interfaces to connect various people to financial and alternative data sources by collaborating with end users and data engineers
- Monitor and review data collection, data quality and data cleansing infrastructure
- Explore ways to improve data evaluation processes and ensure data integrity
- Identify and document any data-related issues and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders
- Communicate insights through compelling data visualisations
Requirements
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field with a December 2025 or Spring 2026 graduation.
- Outstanding programming skills: SQL, Python and Pandas experience is required
- Experience with data wrangling and cleaning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Thorough and detail oriented
- An understanding of financial instruments, securities and market data is a plus
- Prior data internship experience is a plus
- Bonus points for experience with AWS or other cloud-based services
