The role
As part of your role as a Payroll Associate you will provide assistance for end to end processing of standard payrolls on STAR, general administrative duties as requested, keeping up to date with all payroll legislation and industry changes and assisting the payroll executives with payroll related administrative tasks.
In terms of qualifications, we want to ensure we are offering the best service to our customers and the same goes for our people. As an Associate we will provide you with the hands-on experience of working on real client information to learn about the industry and its requirements. If you wish to gain the CIPP qualification, we will enrol you onto a relevant apprenticeship program and ensure your role includes tasks that are in line with the apprenticeship scheme requirements.
The attributes we are looking for is excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will be liaising with our clients, the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and strong attention to detail.
You will join a wider network of 170 in the payroll team, with great opportunity to progress within this large team.
Qualification
We have created a first-class training and development programme and, by starting your career at Azets, in addition to the comprehensive on the job training, you will also be given all the support you need to complete a professional qualification, including college and/or study days, mentoring and a designated buddy.
We offer a range of different qualification pathways at Azets which are determined by the role you are applying for. The qualification that will be undertaken for this position will be the CIPP.

- Need the right to work in the UK from your start date.
- Be on track to achieve, or already have achieved a minimum 2:2 or above in your undergraduate degree
- Level 4 or above in GCSE English Language & Maths
