As Investment Fund Analyst you're firstly accountable for the funds you recommend. Working closely with Investment Managers and clients to provide fund recommendations that align with procedural requirements. Additionally, the role will encompass supporting senior members of the team in the planning and timely execution of new client propositions & projects as well as the efficient management of investment team deliverables.
What you'll be doing:
- Research, monitoring and oversight of external investment managers and their offerings including CIS, non-CIS, segregated mandates and structured products.
- Support in the planning, implementing and monitoring of a range of different projects and processes simultaneously. Support client relationship as required.
- Support the development of new investment strategies and propositions to establish and maintain a market leading investment offering.
- Continued professional development in support of competency assessments.
Qualifications
- Graduate and or a finance related professional qualification
- CFA Charter holder (or working towards, at our discretion), similar qualification or grandfathered by the FCA as threshold competent.
- Knowledge and experience of systems and processes, manager research, investment markets, and investment management techniques.
- Strong interest to continue investment management competence.
- Capable communicator and project manager.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel.
