What you’ll be doing

This Graduate scheme is a 2-year programme and will give you the exclusive opportunity to work in some of our core business areas where you’ll be supported by a placement manager.

Across the 2 years, you’ll have meaningful placements in the following business areas:

  • Water Networks - the day-to-day maintenance and repair of our water network
  • Water Recycling Networks – the day-to-day maintenance and repair of our sewage network
  • Marketing and Communications – look after social media, regional engagement, event management and all internal and external communications
  • Call Centres – making sure our customers get a fantastic service when they get in touch
  • Operational Management Centre – on hand 24/7, 365 days of the year to provide operational risk management to the Water and Water Recycling business units. On a larger scale they also manage things when problems escalate such as burst mains, flooding, pollutions and problems caused by both extremely wet and dry weather.

What does it take?

  • Heaps of passion and enthusiasm for customer service
  • A minimum of a 2:2 degree (any disciplines welcome – inspire and surprise us!)
  • A strong passion to make a difference whilst leading, motivating and developing teams
  • Flexibility to travel and re-locate between placements
  • A full UK driving licence
