Get to know the different pathway roles

 

There are a number of roles within this specialism. We’d encourage you to be as open as possible about the different options, but do let us know on your application if you have a preferred role. We’ll do what we can to help you light your own path.

 

Business Analyst (Norwich): our Business Analysts help us understand customer needs – and what’s required to deliver the practical solutions to meet them. If you’re the kind of person who can explain complex concepts and problems in a simple way, this is the place for you. You’ll analyse and evaluate business opportunities and identify areas for improvement. And in everything you do, you’ll champion the use of technology to improve how we do things for our 19.5 million customers and thousands of colleagues.

 

Project Manager (Norwich): our Project Managers are the experts in organising – both themselves and others. We look for people who are comfortable taking the lead in a group, and also go out of their way to make sure everyone is heard. With a passion for delivering great customer service and a mix of people and planning skills, you’re just the person to make sure everything gets done in the right way, on time and on budget.

 

Resource Planner (Norwich): our Resource Planners work closely with the teams delivering change to ensure they have the right resources to deliver. They have sharp, analytical minds. They love working with data and get a real buzz from working with people too.

Our placements are designed to feed into our Graduate Programmes. After completing your placement, you might be offered a permanent graduate role starting with us in 2027 (after successful completion of your course).

What we’re looking for

 

To be considered for these 12-month placements, you must be:

●        Studying for an undergraduate degree (in any subject)

●       On a course that supports a placement year

●       Available to work full-time (35 hours per week) from July 2025 to end of June 2026

●       Eligible to work in the UK for the duration of your placement, without requiring sponsorship. Please note: this job is not sponsorable under the Home Office Points Based System.

●       Intending to return to university for your final year of study after the placement (graduating in 2027)

Where could you be based?

 

Our Technology Change Delivery Year in Industry opportunities are based in Norwich: a buzzing place in which to launch your career. You will need to live within commuting distance of the office where the role is based, or willing to relocate prior to your start date as you’ll need to spend time with your team in person, as well as virtually, working from home. Three days in the office and two days from home is typical, but this will vary between teams.
