As our New Model Launch – Industrial Placement (12-month placement), you’ll be an instrumental part of the team, ensuring the success of our new model projects. If you’re analytical, driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your perfect role.

In this role, you’ll develop a holistic overview of new model launches, making knowledge your most powerful tool. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of technicians and leaders, rotating through the department to ensure you gain exposure to every aspect of the launch process. This office-based role focuses heavily on data analysis and generating key outputs, such as graphs, presentations, and issue overviews to help drive the project’s progress.

What you'll do 

  • Drive new model projects forward and gain a comprehensive understanding of the launch process.
  • Create/Maintain and follow Programme Master Plans for new vehicle projects
  • Support in the management of containments and vehicle reworks
  • Assist in cross functional problem solving teams
  • Analyse data and create key outputs to support project progress.
  • Work closely with a team of technicians and leaders rotating across different department areas.
  • Be a key part of end-to-end vehicle production, seeing the complete vehicle through to launch.
  • Solution-focused and overcome challenges as part of a collaborative and dynamic team.
  • Support the Launch team in their day to day activities where appropriate

What we're looking for

  • Outgoing and analytical: You enjoy digging into data and quickly understanding information to make informed decisions. Report back on your findings
  • Driven and switched on: You’re proactive and ready to take the lead, never backing away from a challenge.
  • Automotive experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Engineering or project management degree is desirable but not required.
