Aon M&A and Transaction Solutions (AMATS)

Mergers and Acquisitions are sophisticated, time-critical and highly specialised. The AMATS team assists our clients in two main ways during an M&A situation (and sometimes outside M&A):

  • By providing specialist due diligence across a wide range of deal critical areas, including ESG, human capital, insurance, and cyber. This diligence evaluates exposures (past, current, and future) which may impact a transaction
  • By placing risk transfer solutions aimed at both de-risking transactions and enhancing investor returns, often removing deal-breaking risks. This involves structuring and placing solutions including Warranty & Indemnity insurance and using insurance capital to transfer contingent risks out of deals, such as tax and litigation

The clients include Financial Sponsors (Private Equity, Infrastructure funds, Real Estate investors) and Corporate businesses, with transaction sizes range from small domestic deals to large international transactions.

You’ll gain exposure to several areas of the M&A advisory and broking business unit — to support your understanding of the M&A Sector and the ways in which Aon supports their clients undergoing such transactions.

Locations

Here are the locations where we have graduate opportunities this year: London

We recognise the value for our Early Career colleagues of being in the office environment from the beginning of their programme. As a new graduate, you will spend the first 6 months based in the office to support your learning, development, and progression. This will enable you access to support from managers, collaborate with colleagues as well as grow your network across Aon. After completing this initial training period, you will then have the opportunity to work more flexibly, spending at least 3 to 4 days face to face in the Aon office or with clients.
