The role
ADLK Quality organization’s goal is to achieve customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement through systematic approach to quality management, defect reduction and prevention.
This position will require engagement across departments driving /leading cross functional problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
Duties and responsibilities
Training will be provided where required:
- Lead and\or collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure expedite closure of complex product and process quality issues from initiation to closure.
- Support Evaluation of Non-Conforming Material and Disposition of the Material.
- Interpretation of SEM/TEM images and EDX data to solve electrical and defect problems
- Training and mentoring other Quality or Process Engineers on core tools e.g., SPC Tools, FMEA, MSA.
- Perform audits of key suppliers if required.
- Actively participate in audits from customers and certification authorities; review customer specific requirements and respond to part specific information as required by the customers.
- Work with Product Quality Team to analyse customer returns and support continuous improvement activities.
- Work with counterparts in sister fabs to share results, best practices and provide comparable data.
- Collaborate with Product, Process, Design, Failure Analysis and Reliability engineering organizations to drive quality.
- Improvements & implementation of Quality Management System (QMS).
- Facilitate the use of structured problem-solving tools in root cause investigation and corrective action identification.
Key skills required
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Engineering Degree in Process/Microelectronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- High Level Technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes including CMOS and Bipolar device technologies
- Understanding of requirements of Quality Management System (QMS) in manufacturing environment and understanding of risk management using FMEA and Control Plan tools
- Knowledge of problem-solving tools like 8D, DMAIC, 5-why, Fish bone analysis, etc.
- Quality certifications like ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, CQE, etc. will be preferred.
- Familiarity with industry quality standards like IATF16949/ISO9001
- Strong attention to detail and root-cause analysis that will help support our organization's zero-defect initiative
- Must be able to work in a Clean Room environment as required
- Great collaborator that leads through influence
- Excellent project planning, scheduling, documentation, training, coordinating and communication skills.
