What you will be doing
Do you want to help improve experiences of groundbreaking AMD products? If so, AMD Hardware team is the right place for you. We are seeking a highly motivated Hardware Engineering intern/co-op and in this role:
- You will collaborate with Engineers and be responsible for some of AMD’s discrete and embedded hardware products
- We will train you to build applications for external and internal use as well as large scale systems that improve the efficiency of AMD Hardware organization
Who we are looking for
- You are currently enrolled in a UK based University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
- If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply
- Experience/Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing Algorithms and Advanced Communications Standards.
- Digital logic design, RTL coding and verification.
- High-level language programming and scripting (Python, Java, C, etc. ) or HDL (Verilog)
- Familiarity with Xilinx Vivado and SDK as well as 3rd party logic simulator
