The Finance team at AlphaSights is an expanding, global function responsible for planning, accounting, controlling and, ultimately, enabling our fast-paced business. The team is divided into a number of subteams, including Accounts Payable, Billing & Receivables, Commercial Finance, Group Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax, who work closely together to support all of our 9 offices, from Tokyo to San Francisco. 

About this role

To support our continuous growth, we are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven individual to join our fast-paced Billing & Receivables function. Reporting to the Billing & Receivables Manager, you will work closely with your team members and internal stakeholders and to ensure our clients receive accurate and timely invoices and reporting, and to make sure we, as an organisation, receive payment for our services on time.

Based in our London HQ, you will have a broad range of responsibilities, including:

  • Producing sales invoices and credit notes, and report on usage to clients and other stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Drive revenue collection by building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    Managing day-to-day client queries on billing and service usage

The position offers the opportunity to take on responsibility in your role, and with time, the chance to progress within the team, and receive full support with your CIMA qualification.

  • Bachelor's degree, with strong academic credentials
  • 0-1 years experience in a similar finance or accounting role and/or a customer service environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and diligent approach to work
  • The drive and resilience to deliver excellent service amidst tight timelines and changing circumstances
  • Growth mindset: the ability to develop in your role over time and view setbacks as learning opportunities
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and either Japanese, Mandarin or Korean is essential

  • £36,000 fixed annual base salary
