Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate LIMS Application Support Analyst to join our Application Support team in our Group IT department located in Liverpool, UK. This is a perfect start for a chemistry graduate to transition into an IT career, maximising the adoption of the Group’s LIMS systems.

Based at our headquarters in Liverpool, UK and you will embark on a two year programme that is targeted to develop you to become a fully trained and operating LIMS Application Support Analyst. During the programme, you will:

  • Support key LIMS issues and operational changes.
  • Work on a complex LIMS implementation (potential global travel).
  • Experience working in the Group’s laboratories.
  • Go on secondment to other departments in IT, to learn all about our LIMS project. lifecycles, implementations and feature developments.
  • Have the opportunity to experience other systems and processes.

Required qualifications

  • Achieved a minimum 2:1 degree in Chemistry or other relevant subject.

Work experience

  • Any experience working in laboratories is advantageous.

Travel

  • Travel may be required.
  • Must have a valid passport and ability to obtain visas as necessary.

Required languages

  • English (essential).
  • Spanish (advantageous).
