The Early Careers department works towards supporting Airbus’ future skills strategy by delivering the highest quality Early careers programs. Working to attract and retain diverse individuals from all backgrounds whilst creating a positive and inclusive experience for our Early careers population. While at the same time working to support the skills gaps and attract future skills, by reaching out through our education liaisons team to encourage schools pupils to find STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) exciting and understand their importance.
What you will be doing
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Intern who is eager to learn about Airbus’ Early careers population. You will be working within our Early careers team conducting research, capturing data, leading projects, attending meetings, supporting events as well as covering administrative tasks. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current daily initiatives.
As an Early Careers Intern you will gain experience and acquire an overview of our early careers department. You will get the opportunity to put your learning into action, in a real-world environment. This will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses, the type of career you want to pursue and develop skills that will improve your chance of getting the job you have always wanted.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks, a commitment to act with integrity, and confidentiality as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth. Your tasks while working in Early careers will be varied and you will be required to successfully complete tasks from the following list:
- Lead and support STEM activities and events;
- Create and develop training documents;
- Support in program development and continuous improvement;
- Attend meetings, create action logs and take minutes;
- Support STEM strategy development and corporate alignment;
- Support partnership development;
- Help with recruitment, onboarding and induction processes;
- Assist and lead Early Careers projects.
Requirements
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Studying towards a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, a Social Science field, or equivalent;
- Work well within a team;
- The ability to listen, understand and communicate information;
- An interest in finding creative solutions to complex problems;
- The ability to organise and manage multiple tasks within strict time constraints;
- Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders;
- Customer Service experience (both verbal and written);
- Nice to have experience in Project Management.
